X CONGRESO IBÉRICO: LA BICICLETA Y LA CIUDAD

I am very happy to announce that tomorrow I will be travelling to Vitoria (Spain) to  deliver a talk at the X Congreso Ibérico: La Bicicleta y la ciudad “Regreso al futuro” (X Iberian Conference: The Bicycle and the city “Back to the future”).
   

The first thing that I would like to say is a BIG THANK YOU to the organising committee, especially to Diana, Cristina and Rubén from Bizikleteroak who invited me to participate.

X Congreso Ibérico (Vitoria, 2013).

The X Congreso Ibérico: La bicicleta y la ciudad will take place in Vitoria (Spain), between today, 2^nd May and Sunday 5^th May is organised by Bizikleteroak and CONBICI. The Conference is defined as “a moment of exchange, debate, training and information about all kinds of issues of interest to people close to the urban cyclist movement”.

The presentations will take place on Saturday 4^th May in morning and afternoon sessions, and the rest of the days will schedule parallel activities such as sightseeing, cycling rides, workshops, etc.

My talk entitled: “Bikeability: un nuevo concepto de educación vial en las escuelas” (Bikeability: a new concept of road safety at school) will take place on Saturday 4th May at 12:00. Basically, I will explain to the Spanish and Portuguese people the concept of Bikeability developed in the United Kingdom.
